“On the Beach” is the ninth episode in Season 1 of The Bureau of Magical Things. It premiered to about 102,000 viewers in the U.S.[3]

Plot[]

Concerned by Peter's growing suspicion of magical events, Kyra and Darra investigate a mysterious house and are transported to a magical beach with no way back; Kyra experiences a strange new power, which may be their only way out.

Trivia[]

  • Ruksy remembers Peter as "the hot dog boy from the basketball game" and recalls him having mustard on his chin. ("Shortcut")
  • There was a portal near the haunted house. When Kyra and Darra tried going back, the portal disappeared.
  • Lily and Imogen got in a fight over Ladder.
  • When Darra tried to jump to get out of the beach, he only reappeared there.
  • Professor Maxwell doesn't appear except at the very end of the episode.
  • Kyra and Darra pick a photo up of a unknown mermaid which could be references that the events of this series and in H2O could be in the same world

Goofs[]

  • At one point when Kyra is controlling Ladder, there is a bright red book on top of the other three books. However, a few seconds later, the red book is no longer on top of the books and Kyra/Ladder takes that same book off a shelf.
